The South African Sugarcane Research Institute (SASRI) is a world renowned agricultural research institute conducting research for the sugar industry. SASRI is offering a one year internship within the field of Computer Science/Programming. The successful candidate will receive on the job training to develop computerized decision support for sugarcane crop management The Intern’s role is mainly analysis and management of research and production data, development and testing of customised software, and training of end users of the software, As well as writing computer code to implement concepts and rules as formulated by researchers.
